At NEALCore: Mental Health Solutions, LLC, we believe that Compassion is at the Core of Care. Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care that empowers individuals to achieve lasting mental wellness in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
Founded by Dr. Kareem Neal, DNP, PMHNP-BC, NEALCore is built on more than 15 years of nursing experience and 5 years of advanced practice experience providing psychiatric care to individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Dr. Neal earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2021, where his doctoral project, "Implementation of a Verbal De-escalation Protocol to Decrease Chemical Restraints," reflected his commitment to treating patients with dignity, empathy, and respect. His work demonstrated that compassionate communication and therapeutic engagement can reduce the need for chemical restraints while improving patient outcomes and preserving human dignity.
